Mental Health & Wellbeing Coaches

Sometimes recovery is about having the right support to help you make sense of what is affecting your wellbeing and take manageable steps forward.

Our Mental Health and Wellbeing Coaches work with you to understand what matters to you, what may be getting in the way and what could help you feel more in control of your mental health and wellbeing.

Support shaped around you

Your coach will work with you to develop a personalised wellbeing plan based on your needs and goals.

This could include support to:

  • Understand what is affecting your mental health and wellbeing

  • Set realistic goals and recognise the progress you are making

  • Build confidence and develop practical ways to manage difficult thoughts or feelings

  • Make positive changes to your physical health, activity, diet or sleep

  • Find activities, groups and support in your local community

  • Access other services that may be able to help with things such as employment, relationships, bereavement or substance use

Life events such as redundancy, debt, illness, bereavement and relationship difficulties can all have an impact on our mental health. You do not have to deal with these challenges alone. A Mental Health and Wellbeing Coach can help you explore what support might be right for you and build confidence in your own ability to move forward.

What can a Mental Health and Wellbeing Coach help with?

You can talk to a coach about a wide range of things affecting your wellbeing, including stress, anxiety, panic, loneliness, low mood, low self-esteem, grief and loss, sleep, employment, relationship difficulties, substance use and living with long-term pain or health conditions.
